What We Do
At Trust A Girl Africa (TAGA), we believe that when you empower a girl, you transform a community. Our work is rooted in the conviction that every Ugandan girl deserves the chance to thrive, lead, and live with dignity.
We go beyond charity — we create opportunities.

Girl Child Education
We believe that empowering Ugandan girls starts in the classroom. Education transforms lives, uplifts families, and strengthens entire communities. TAGA supports girls through school enrollment, mentorship, and learning resources — ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to pursue their dreams and lead empowered lives.

Skilling the Girl Child
Vocational and hands-on skills are vital tools for self-reliance. Through tailoring, crafts, agriculture, and business training, TAGA equips girls with practical skills to break free from poverty and become contributors to their communities and local economies.

Girl Child Rights Protection
Every girl deserves to grow up free from violence, abuse, and exploitation. TAGA advocates for the protection of girls’ rights, creating safe spaces, offering psychosocial support, and working with communities to safeguard the dignity and safety of every girl.

Child Marriage & Teenage Pregnancy Prevention
We are actively working to end early marriages and prevent teenage pregnancies. Through education, dialogue, and community engagement, TAGA raises awareness on the importance of keeping girls in school and delaying marriage — enabling them to build stronger, healthier futures.

Girl Child in Community and Public Service
We nurture leadership in girls by giving them platforms to participate in civic life. Through mentorship, advocacy training, and leadership forums, TAGA helps girls develop the confidence and skills to speak up, serve others, and shape the future of their communities.

Girl Child and Environmental Conservation
Empowering girls to become champions of the environment is key to sustainable development. TAGA educates girls about climate change, tree planting, and waste management, engaging them in hands-on projects that protect their environment and communities.

Girl Child and Access to Safe Water
Clean water is essential for health, dignity, and school attendance. TAGA rehabilitates boreholes and promotes hygiene education, ensuring that girls and their schools have consistent access to safe, reliable water sources — allowing them to learn without interruption.

Girl Child in Technology
In a digital world, every girl deserves access to tech. TAGA provides digital literacy programs, coding workshops, and access to tech tools so girls can thrive in the information age. We are bridging the digital divide and preparing girls for tech-driven careers.

Girl Child in Music
Music is a powerful outlet for self-expression and healing. TAGA nurtures musical talent in girls through training, mentorship, and performance opportunities, helping them build confidence, explore their creativity, and connect with culture and community.

Girl Child Medical Care
Health is the foundation of empowerment. TAGA ensures that girls have access to essential medical care, vaccinations, and health education. In partnership with health providers, we promote well-being and early intervention, ensuring every girl thrives physically and emotionally.
